Review and Selection

A faculty committee comprised of members of each Maine INBRE institution reviews applications. Each application is read by three reviewers who assign both a score and a rank. Final decisions are made by the committee, and students are notified by email one month after the application deadline. The Maine INBRE Outreach Core makes final student and mentor assignments. Final award notifications will be made by March 1st.

Funding

The INBRE Summer Research Fellowship includes room and board, a weekly stipend, and research supply funds for the mentor. We will also reimburse travel expenses to and from the fellowship site.
